WHAT IS SINESTESIA?
SINESTESIA is the experience of perceiving several senses at once: hearing colors, seeing sounds, feeling the vibration of an image. It is an unexpected intersection between perception, imagination, and the body.
Under this idea, Sinestesia was founded in 2010 as an audiovisual and performing arts collective interested in exploring the boundaries between music, movement, and image. Our work exists in that territory where different artistic languages meet to create experiences that engage the senses.
Over the years we have collaborated with artists from diverse disciplines — musicians, dancers, performers, and visual creators — to develop projects that combine sound, body, and technology, always searching for new forms of perception and new ways of connecting with audiences.
Our projects unfold across different cultural and scenic contexts, from festivals and artistic exhibition spaces to audiovisual and performative works that investigate the relationship between art, technology, and sensory experience.
More than producing shows, we are interested in creating encounters between the senses, where music, the body, and the image become a single artistic gesture.
Our work focuses on the creation of audiovisual content and multimedia technological performances for:
-
Festivals
-
Fairs
-
Exhibitions
-
Corporate events
-
Concerts and promotional events, among others.
